Size: The size of a corrugated box is always in the sequence: Length x Width x Depth (height) The above measurements are known as the inside dimensions and are always used in determining the proper size to ensure a good fit. With the box open- the Length is the largest dimension, the width the smaller dimension and the depth (height) is perpendicular to the opening. Corrugated pads and sheets with only two dimensions have their size specified with the first dimension parallel to the flutes.
Start with the weight of your contents to determine the strength of corrugated material you require.
